Do you love to sing?

The Melbourne Chamber Choir and the Melbourne Women’s Choir welcome additional members at the beginning, and throughout, the singing year.

We require you to have:

  • vocal skill — preferably with vocal training
  • a love of choral music
  • commitment to learning new repertoire
  • competent sight reading skills
  • a desire to contribute to a high standard of ensemble performance

Auditioning

You will sing a song of your choosing
You will do some vocal exercises
You will demonstrate your music reading by singing a piece provided for you.

Membership Fees

When you join there is a once-off library fee and an outfit fee.
There is an annual membership fee which assists with costs of rehearsals.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are weekly and occur close to the city – in East Melbourne. Parking is available and the venue is easily accessible by public transport.

Melbourne Chamber Choir: Thursday evenings.

Melbourne Women’s Choir: Tuesday evenings.

Melbourne Mastersingers: As required.

Chorelation: As required.
